The Ministry of Higher Education intends to open two educational hospitals in Hama and Homs

The Ministry of Higher Education revealed the ministry’s intention to open two educational hospitals in Hama and Homs with a capacity of 200 beds for each, stressing that the work is currently in progress
The ministry said also it had agreed to expand Assad University Hospital With a cost reached 25 million euros, expand the children’s hospital and repair cardio’s hospital
According to the information that released by the Ministry of Higher Education, the launch of the hospital project in Damascus is in progress, where the hospital will have a capacity of 400 beds, which make it the most important hospital in the region with 20 operating rooms in different specialties
The ministry referred that it is aiming to develop the axis of excellence and creativity, also developing the law of excellence and creativity organization to give it greater powers
And it added, the goal is to achieve excellence in its place and to improve the international classification of Syrian universities
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Higher Education supervising on several university educational hospitals, distributed over the governorates, while the number of hospitals is 14, including

Al-Assad University Hospital
General Hospital of Children’s Hospital
Al-Biruni Hospital in Damascus

According to the classification, the University of Damascus ranked the second in Syria, while it has ranked 8481 globally, which means it has regressed about 3955 rankings, while the Syrian Virtual University ranked the fourth in Syria , while it has ranked 10109 globally with1445 degrees
