The Organizing Committee of the Carthage Film Festival which will released in its 29th cycle on November 3 in Carthage, Tunisia, announced its participation with the “War Travelers” film which directed by the Syrian filmmaker Joud Saeed
The film tells the story of Bahaa (Ayman Zeidan), which he plays a role of an employee at the electricity company in Aleppo governorate about to retired, while he plans to get compensation for the end of his service and return to settle in his far village, Bahaa trip to his village is full of events, surprises and strange situations, so could he reach his village?
Film’s starring by Ayman Zeidane, Lujain Ismail, Yara Geroj, and Lina Howarneh, written and directed by Joud Saeed, while it’s producing by the Lebanese production company “Al-Ameer”
It was filmed between the city of Homs and its villages, Aleppo, Lattakia and the countryside of Hama
Carthage Film Festival was founded in 1966 and, starting in 2015, then it’s became an annual festival, after a biennial event. It is part of three artistic events that coincide with the Carthage Theater and Carthage musical days
it’s a noteworthy that this year, there will be 206 films of 47 different countries are participating in the festival
