The Ministry of Transportation announced today on reopening of all Syrian maritime ports in the face of maritime navigation.
Brigadier General Akram Ibrahim, Director General of Maritime Ports in the Ministry said that the ports were reopened to navigation as of this morning.
The coastal area witnessed “an increase in the southwest wind speed and a heavy rainstorms in the region.
All Syrian ports were closed last Tuesday due to bad weather conditions in the country. The closure included Tartous commercial port, Banias port, oil port, Arwad port, Lattakia port, Jablah port and small ports.
