The United States Senate approved a draft that impose sanctions over Syria and its allies, the draft including procedures that allow penalizing companies that engage in campaigns for boycott of Israel.
The draft provided sanctions over Syrian Government, and its allies countries as Iran and Russia that support Syria with energy, business and Air transportation, or aircraft spares that companies provided them to Syrian Aviation Authority, also who participate in construction and architecture projects that are implemented by Syrian Government, and those who support energy industry in Syria. The draft provided also new sanctions over anybody or any entity is dealing with Syrian Government or funding it, according to RT.
Beside, the draft requires the president with humanitarian assistance strategy to Syrian residents for the congress within 180 days, as it mandates The Department of the Treasury to decide if The Central Bank of Syria is involved in money laundering, and to impose sanctions if it has proved.
The Draft also contains amendment regarding Syria approved by the senate earlier, which requires Trump to make sure of defeating ISIS completely before withdraw US forces from Syria.
