Today, Thursday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of three citizens by Israeli forces in Jenin.
A special Israeli force stormed the outskirts of the Jenin camp, followed by military reinforcements and a bulldozer that removed some of the roadblocks that had been erected in some areas, amid violent armed clashes.
Israeli forces fired directly at civilian vehicles, targeted ambulances and prevented medical personnel from reaching the wounded and martyrs.
In a statement, the Israeli army said that it had arrested 15 “wanted” men and confiscated illegal weapons in various West Bank cities during a new raid by IDF troops and border guards.
Violent confrontations and armed clashes broke out between the incursing Israeli forces and Palestinians in the Jenin camp who attempted to confront the Israeli army.
Sniper units were stationed in a number of buildings and houses and opened fire on citizens.
Warning sirens were sounded in the Jenin camp following the incursion by the Israeli army in order to prepare for a confrontation.
For its part, the Jenin Battalion announced that it targeted the assembly of vehicles with a large number of high explosive devices and achieved direct injuries, in response to the assassination that it carried out against a number of citizens.
National and Islamic forces in Jenin Governorate declared a mass strike to mourn the martyrs, calling for broad participation in the funeral of the martyrs’ bodies.
At least 145 Palestinians and 26 Israelis were martyred this year throughout the West Bank, “Israel” and Jerusalem, according to Frances Press.
