Aleppo came first in the number of injuries, followed by Damascus and then Latakia, as a result of the population density, the great mixing and the wide social activity in these governorates. According to Dr. Tawfiq Hassa, Director of Readiness, Ambulance and Emergency in the Ministry, “Corona’s deaths are within normal limits and less than the previous wave by 50 percent.”

According to an account, the increase in injuries was clearly reflected in hospitals; Where the accepted cases increased from 98 on the 21st of last July to 837 cases on the 24th of August.

The sources pointed out that this measure is part of the plan to respond to the coronavirus, and came after a sudden doubling of the number of daily infections.

Regarding the registration of injuries to the delta mutant in Syria, the Director of Readiness indicated that there were no necessary analyzes to detect it in Syria, but samples were sent for testing through the World Health Organization, and the presence of the mutant was not proven.
