Today, a number of detainees in Daraa province who were “deceived and not involved in the killing of Syrians”were released by a new amnesty, according to what was reported by “SANA”, within the framework of the settlement agreement proposed by the state in the province.
Special sources in Daraa told “hashtag” that the release of a number of detainees in the province today comes with an amnesty issued under the directives of President Bashar al-Assad.
According to the sources, the number of those who have been released is 15 detainees from all over the governorate, and at the same time, there is a committee that studies the files of detainees who do not have a personal claim and can be released in the next few days.
The detainees were released in the governorate building, and it was attended by the head of the security and military committee in the southern region, Major General Mufid Hassan, the Secretary of the Daraa branch of the Baath Party Hussein al-Rifai, the governor of Daraa, Marwan Sharbak, the provincial police chief, heads of state security and military security branches, and the attorney general.
According to current information, the process of releasing detainees will not stop and will take place every week or 15 days.
The Governor of Daraa, Marwan Sharbak, confirmed that the governorate’s agencies were directed to facilitate the affairs of all those who were released, solve any problem that they may face in the future, settle the conditions of the employees and help them return to their departments according to the foundations approved by the concerned ministry, noting that “the doors to return to the homeland open to all.”
The settlement operations in Daraa governorate started from the Daraa al-Balad neighborhood last August and included in its early days the village of al-Yadouda, the town of Muzayrib, the city of Tafas, the town of Tel Shehab and the villages and towns of the Yarmouk Basin. in the province.
