The six national carriers have intensified their preparations to increase travel rates during Eid Al-Adha, which coincides with the height of the summer season and the increase in demand for travel globally as the travel market recovers from the repercussions of the “Covid-19” pandemic.
Emirates has invested in many smart technical services to ensure smooth travel for its customers, ahead of the peak travel season on Eid Al-Adha, and has worked with its partners in airport ground handling services around the world to ensure that its operations run smoothly during the peak period.
Etihad Airways has enhanced its operations locally and across its destination network to ensure that passengers have a seamless travel experience, whether at the airport or on board.

Abu Dhabi Airports expected 2.8 million passengers to pass through Abu Dhabi International Airport during the months of July and August, including 414,000 during Eid al-Adha period.
This will have a positive impact on travel and is expected to exceed 13 million passengers through Abu Dhabi International Airport by the end of this year, according to what the airports recently announced.
The great activity in these vital sectors enhances their contribution to the growth of the national economy, which is expected to reach 5.4% in 2022, after it grew by 3.8% in the last year 2021, according to the latest statistics of the Central Bank of Emirates.
