The Egyptian singer, Muhammad Fouad, aroused great sympathy, after crying live, because he lost his brother in the 1967 war, and the location of his body or where he was buried was not known.
Mohamed Fouad said in a call on the “Al-Hekaya” program on MBC Egypt: “My brother died in 67 and has not returned. A whole family lives in the hope that one day we will know the place where he was buried.”
“We die of pain. We want to see his grave. The wish of our lives is to visit my brother’s grave and read Al-Fatihah to him… My father, Hajj Fouad, may God have mercy on him, suffered a lot. Any news that someone returned from captivity makes him search, I swear to God that he remains missing is more difficult than the news of the martyr.” The word missing is tiring, tiring me so far, and tiring for my father’s fatigue as well. The fatigue of the father and mother was terrible,” he added.
He pointed out that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi feels the suffering of the families of the missing martyrs, adding: “I swear by God that the wish of my life is to bury my brother and bury myself with him, and I hope we know where he is.”
Fouad concluded crying: “I hope that there will be happy news, I will do a celebration at that time in the streets of Egypt, and I will sing and the last day I will sing will be, I do not want anything else from the world.”
