The Syrian Doctors Syndicate Council elected Dr. Ghassan Abdel Hamid Fandy as the head of the Doctors Syndicate, after the former captain, Kamal Amer, submitted his unannounced resignation nearly a month ago.
And “hashtag” had indicated in previous information that Captain Kamal Amer submitted his resignation for “health reasons”, which were not disclosed, but if true, it would be a precedent at the level of union, partisan and governmental positions, since we are used to officials who are only separated from their position except dismissal or death .
Since then, three doctors from the Central Council of the Syndicate have competed for the position, and Dr. Fendi was among them.
Dr. Fendi previously held the position of head of the Lattakia Doctors Syndicate and a member of the Syrian Doctors Syndicate Council.
