Hammoud said that the Health Directorate in Al-Raqqa suffers from the issue of the lack of a hospital in it, and therefore, when infected with the Corona virus and the need to enter a hospital, transfers are carried out from the eastern countryside of the province to al-Hasakah hospitals, and for infections in the western countryside that require hospitalization, they are transferred to hospitals Aleppo.
According to the plan approved by the Ministry of Health, if those cases infected with the virus died in those hospitals, it is approved by the statistics of the governorate in which the hospital is located, and returns to the governorate for burial only, and this explains the low number of deaths caused by infection with the Corona virus in the governorate, Hammoud said.
