The School Health Directorate is awaiting the application of the rapid test to examine Corona: Lattakia tops the injuries and the closure of the class people

In the third week of school work, the Director of School Health, Dr. Hatoon Al-Tawashi, said that the number of injuries recorded during this week amounted to 232, including 207 teachers and 25 students, pointing out that there is an increase in the number of swabs that are conducted and an increase in the number of positive cases.

Al-Tawashi confirmed in a special statement to “Hashtag” that Lattakia ranked first in the number of injuries, followed by Damascus and Homs with approximately the same number, and accordingly an awareness campaign was conducted in Lattakia schools for the causes and symptoms, noting that more than one classroom in the governorate was closed, and in Tartous and Homs, but no classroom in Damascus was closed.

The director of school health explained that a large number of classrooms were not closed because the injuries were among teachers, not students, and action was being taken with a break for them.

Al-Tawashi revealed that work is being done to implement the use of the rapid anti-Corona test in agreement with the Ministry of Health, to be replaced by “pcr” in schools, where the result of the examination appears within a quarter of an hour, which would enable the detection of infections in a shorter time.
