Since the morning, the implementation of the agreed-upon settlement process began in the city of Nawa in the western countryside of Daraa, by settling the situation of militants, wanted persons and deserters from military service, in conjunction with arrangements for implementing the settlement in Jasim city in the northern countryside of the governorate.
Private sources told Hashtag that a meeting held by the security committee in the province confirmed that there is a military presence of the Syrian army, as well as the presence of the competent authorities for a long time in the city of Nawa and the state departments are there, but this does not mean that any area in which the army and the competent authorities are safe , there are cases of outlaws and weapons are still present with them and they carry out from time to time riots and acts against the law, and therefore the city of Nawa will be subject to the implementation of the settlement proposed by the state, where the process of settling the situation of the armed men, wanted persons and deserters from military service from the city’s residents, as well as receiving weapons, will take place. Which is what happened today.
The sources indicated that after the implementation of the settlement in the city of Nawa, only the city of Sheikh Miskin in the western countryside of Daraa, which has not yet joined the settlement, remains, and with its accession, the implementation of the settlement proposed by the state ends in all of this countryside.
The city of Nawa is located in the northwest region of the Hauran Plain, 10 km from the border with the occupied Syrian Golan and Jabal al-Sheikh.
It is noteworthy that the city of Nawa possesses great privacy, especially in terms of its monuments and historical monuments, most notably the tomb of Sam, the son of the Prophet Noah, a shrine for Imam Mohieddin Sharaf al-Nawawi, a shrine for the Prophet Ayoub, and a shrine for the companion Saad bin Ubadah.
At this time, units of the Syrian army entered the village of Tsil and its surroundings in the northwestern countryside of Daraa and began strengthening its military points after completing the settlement of the status of militants, wanted persons and deserters from military service and handing over weapons to the Syrian army in accordance with the settlement agreement proposed by the Syrian state.
SANA reported that army units continued to secure the villages and towns where the settlement operations took place, as they entered the village of Tsil in the western countryside of Daraa and began strengthening their points there hours after completing the settlement of the status of dozens of the residents of the village and the villages of Al-Bakkar Al-Gharbi, Al-Bakkar Al-Sharqi and Al-Abdali, according to the terms of the agreement that put forward by the state.
The sources revealed that arrangements are currently underway to implement the settlement proposed by the state in the city of Jassim in the northern countryside of the governorate. Where the city of Jassim witnessed military movements in the vicinity of the city to start the settlement process there, and these developments come after the competent authorities have finished making settlements in the western countryside of Daraa.
The sources expected that the next stop after the western countryside of Daraa would be the villages of Al-Jaidour (Jassem, Ankhil and Al-Hara).
