Thirteen Syrian soldiers were martyred and two others were wounded yesterday, Monday, in a terrorist attack that targeted a passenger bus, on the “Al-Zamla” road in Jabal Al-Bishri in the countryside of Raqqa, according to SANA news agency.

A military source said in a statement, that at approximately 6:30 this morning, a civilian bus was attacked by a terrorist on the Raqqa-Homs road in the Al-Jira area.
Martyrs and wounded
The military source indicated that eleven soldiers and two civilians were killed, and three other soldiers were wounded.
Officers’ victims
In the context, local sources stated that all the passengers on the bus are members of the Syrian army, including officers, and that the bus is a civilian, according to “Sputnik”.
Earlier, SANA news agency reported that a terrorist attack targeted a passenger bus on the Zamla road in Jabal Al-Bishri in the Raqqa countryside, noting that the initial reports indicate the death of 13 soldiers.
