The activities of the Syrian Film Week will continue under the slogan “From Baghdad, here is Damascus” until the 7th of June in the city of Baghdad, where a group of the latest Syrian cinema productions will be shown.

The artistic event Syrian Film Week was held by the Iraqi Cinema and Theater Department, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Cinema and Syrian Theater, during which 13 films were screened.
Syrian movie stars
A number of Syrian drama stars participated in the events held in the Iraqi capital, including Duraid Laham, Ayman Zidan, Salma Al-Masry, Suzan Najm Al-Din, and Bas Al-Khatib.
“Syraqi” civilization
The Director-General of Syrian Cinema and Theater, Murad Shaheen, expressed his happiness at holding the activities of the Syrian Cinema Week in Baghdad, praising the civilization of Iraq and Syria.

Shaheen stated that the current situation in Syria has greatly affected the production of cinematic films and led to its decline, pointing to their readiness to produce Syrian films in Baghdad and Erbil.
