A local source in Baniyas confirmed the arrival of tankers of crude oil and gas during the past two days.
According to local sources, during the past 48 hours, two crude oil tankers with a tonnage of two million and 600 barrels of oil and a gas tanker arrived at Baniyas port, and the first tanker was started to unload.
First, the Iranian oil tanker “Yasmine” arrived at the port of Baniyas, and its cargo was unloaded, which would contribute to reviving the fuel situation in Syria.
The source indicated that the two tankers “Arman” and “Sam” arrived after that, one of them an oil tanker and the other loaded with gas.
The sources estimated the tonnage of the three tankers at 2.6 million barrels of crude oil, which has a market value of nearly $200 million.
