The Directorate of School health records 33 injuries in schools in the first week of work

The Directorate of School health conducted 60 test swabs, 33 of which were positive, including 5 students and 28 teachers, according to the Director of School Health, Dr. Hatoon Al-Tawashi.
This is part of the school health application of rapid tests to detect the Corona virus in its clinics at the beginning of the second semester.
The snow that fell last year hindered the sending of special supplies to continue the tests that were distributed to the health centers of the Ministry of Education in all governorates, and last week’s tests were limited to the governorates of Aleppo, Hama, Homs, Damascus, Tartous and Latakia.
Al-Tawashi confirmed, in exclusive statements to “Hashtag”, that the rapid test for detecting the Corona virus was conducted by the rest of the dispensaries of the Ministry of Education, this week.
Homs had the largest number of coronavirus infections, according to Al-Tawashi, because it conducted the largest number of swabs of the rapid test in the past week, noting that dealing with the rapid test had a positive impact in the rapid detection of the virus quickly, easily and securely.
The tests were also distributed to most of the school clinics included in the application of the tests, which number one center in Idlib and Raqqa, two centers in Deir ez-Zor and Al-Hasakah, three centers in As-Suwayda and Daraa, and five in the rest of the governorates.

According to the ministry’s plan, 50 test samples are distributed to each clinic weekly, and the number is subject to increase, according to the Director of School Health, during the coming weeks, and according to need.
Al-Tawashi concluded that the results of the tests are documented as confirmed cases of infection with the Corona virus and are sent on a daily basis to the health directorates in the governorates, and from there to the Ministry of Health, according to the joint work plan that was agreed upon between the Directorate of School Health in the Ministry of Education, the directorates of communicable and chronic diseases, and public health laboratories in the Ministry of Health.
