It is worth noting that in the summer of 2018, the European Commission imposed a fine of 4.34 billion euros on Google for “violating EU antitrust rules” and “unlawful restrictions” on Android device manufacturers and mobile operators.
At the time, the Commission indicated that Google had imposed restrictions on some smartphones running Android systems.
