The negotiating committee in Daraa announces agreement on the main lines of a “comprehensive solution”… and implementation?!

Two weeks, which is the time limit granted by the Syrian state to the militants in Daraa al-Balad, the camp, and the road to the dam, to respond to a new proposal put forward in a meeting yesterday between the Security and Military Committee on the one hand and the Central Committee delegated by the militants on the other hand, under the auspices of the Russian side.

The spokesman for the Central Negotiations Committee in Daraa, southern Syria, Adnan al-Masalmeh, announced that yesterday’s negotiations resulted in agreement on the main lines of a road map that includes a comprehensive solution.

Al-Masalma explained on Facebook that yesterday’s talks took place with “the commander of the Russian forces, Andrei, in the presence of a representative of the Syrian government and representatives of the central committees in Daraa, in which the main lines of the road map containing a solution that includes the entire region were presented, starting with two weeks of the continuation of the cease-fire.” “.

Al-Masalma added that rounds of talks and negotiations will take place during that period, and a committee will be formed from “the parties concerned with implementing the agreement, to follow up on solving problems throughout the negotiation period.”

He pointed out that the Central Committee will be provided with a hard copy of the road map for you to view it and discuss each item in it, and go into details.

Al-Masalma said that, starting from Sunday, a Russian patrol will be conducted in the vicinity of Daraa to monitor the ceasefire and inspect the situation on the ground.

Al-Masalma had said that a meeting was held the day before yesterday with the Russian side, in the presence of General Andrei, the new Russian official in charge of the southern file, and that the Russian side “confirmed that it seeks with all parties to find peaceful solutions and a ceasefire,” and indicated that there is a “new roadmap.”
